Travelling with baby

Critical thinking throws light on goals, examines assumptions, observes hidden values, evaluates evidence, accomplishes actions and conclusions. It can occur whenever we judge, decide or solve a problem; IN GENERAL, whenever we must figure out what to believe or what to do and do so in a reasonable way. SO WHY NOT TRY???

Now it's time for Brain Challenge

1) A man went on a trip with a fox, a goose, and a sack of corn. He came upon a stream which he had to cross and found a tiny boat to use to cross the stream. He could only take himself and one other - the fox, the goose, or the corn - at a time. He could not leave the fox alone with the goose or the goose alone with the corn. How does he get all safely over the stream?

2) After teaching his class all about roman numerals (X = 10, IX=9 and so on) the teacher asked his class to draw a single continuous line and turn IX into 6. The only stipulation the teacher made was that the pen could not be lifted from the paper until the line was complete.

*** I NEED YOUR SUGGESTIONS TO SOLVE THESE RIDDLES!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Critical Thinking Skills

My Dear Students;
This week we are starting a new book! The first chapter is about ''critical thinking'' What is ''thinking?'' It is the activity of using our brains to consider a problem or to create an idea.
EVERYONE thinks; it is our nature to do so. But NOONE ALWAYS acts purely objectively and rationally. What do we do? We usually gossip, boast, exaggerate and avoid speaking the truth. It is ''only human'' to wish to prove that our prior knowledge is correct; we support our prior decisions or earlier beliefs. In the process of satisfying our ego, however, we can often deny ourselves, intellectual growth and opportunities. We may not always want to apply ''critical thinking skills'', but we SHOULD!!!

***Please comment on the above mentioned piece of writing stating your reasons***
